- Review basic clinical and neuroimaging features of astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas and their mimics.
- Evaluate glioma histopathology with emphasis on incorporating current molecular features that define astrocytoma subtypes and oligodendrogliomas into the final diagnosis.
- Raise awareness of “tumefactive” lesions that mimic primary brain tumors including diagnostic pitfalls.
