- Diagnose appendiceal neoplasms and to exclude important mimics
- Become familiar with current WHO terminology and TNM staging for appendiceal tumors
- Gain an approach to medical liver biopsy interpretation, particularly in developing a differential diagnosis for hepatitis and cholestatic liver disease
- Be more prepared to evaluate difficult areas of liver biopsy interpretation such as acute hepatitis, collapse, and overlap syndromes
