Course Description
Six USCAP educators (recently vaccinated) traveled to Palm Springs to conduct interactive microscopy sessions broadcast live for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting with interactive Q&A, reflecting their academic expertise and experience. The Academy is pleased to offer access to Dr. John Hart’s study session with focus on the learning objectives below. Dr. Hart is Professor of Pathology at the University of Chicago. He is President-Elect of USCAP.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
  • Understand how a histologic pattern based approach can greatly aid in the diagnosis of drug induced liver injury
  • Recognize the most common drugs that characteristically produce the various typical histologic patterns of medical liver disease

Target Audience
Practicing academic and community pathologists, and pathologists-in-training
