Course Description
Six USCAP educators (recently vaccinated) traveled to Palm Springs to conduct interactive microscopy sessions broadcast live for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting with interactive Q&A, reflecting their academic expertise and experience. The Academy is pleased to offer access to Dr. John Hart’s study session with focus on the learning objectives below. Dr. Hart is Professor of Pathology at the University of Chicago. He is President-Elect of USCAP.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
  • Recognize the key histologic features of the range of mass lesions composed of hepatocyes, including recently described entities
  • Understand the clinical, imaging and laboratory features that can aid in the proper diagnosis of hepatiocellular mass lesions
  • Appreciate the immunohistologic stains and molecular studies that confirm a diagnosis of various hepatocellular mass lesions

Practicing academic and community pathologists, and pathologists-in-training
