Course Description
Six USCAP educators (recently vaccinated) traveled to Palm Springs to conduct interactive microscopy sessions broadcast live for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting with interactive Q&A, reflecting their academic expertise and experience. The Academy is pleased to offer access to Dr. Adeboye Osunkoya’s study session with focus on the learning objectives below. Dr. Osunkoya is Professor of Pathology and Urology at Emory University. He is Vice President of USCAP.
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Recognize common benign and malignant mimickers of urothelial carcinoma
- Identify histologic variants of urothelial carcinoma and be aware of potential diagnostic pitfalls
- Develop a systemic approach to the diagnosis of secondary tumors involving the bladder
