Six USCAP educators (recently vaccinated) traveled to Palm Springs to conduct interactive microscopy sessions broadcast live for the 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting with interactive Q&A, reflecting their academic expertise and experience. The Academy is pleased to offer access to Dr. Jason Hornick’s study session with focus on the learning objectives below. Dr. Hornick is Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Surgical Pathology and Immunohistochemistry at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He currently serves on the USCAP Board of Directors.
Upon completion of this educational activity, learners will be able to:
- Develop a differential diagnosis for a wide range of soft tissue tumors
- Apply immunohistochemistry to aid in the differential diagnosis of soft tissue tumors
- Recognize diagnostically useful genetic alterations in soft tissue tumors
