Course Description
The goal of this symposium is to educate about the advances in metastatic breast cancer diagnosis and treatment implications.
Learning Objectives
Learners will be able to:
- Understand the evolving classification of HER2 expression and testing in breast cancer
- Discuss challenges and potential solutions in HER2 IHC testing and interpretation
- Apply the knowledge gained to help improve pathologist communication to the oncologist for improved patient care. Listen to the dialogue between an oncologist and pathologists discuss their challenging cases.
